No, I'm not the artist - some guy was doing these at a show
Anyway, this isn't about me, it's about the problems of CDRW drives using the JVC XR-W2080 hardware - this includes many 2x2x24 devices, usually numbered as 2224, 2242 or similar.
The other issue is the "All CDs appear as Audio" bug caused when the firmware does not support the UDF reader.
I would be interested to hear from anyone who has been able to compare the 2080 and 4080 (4x2x24) drives, as I suspect there may be a hardware hack to convert them.

I am not a particularly artistic designer, with a preference for backward compatible HTML in a tag-based editor and an extreme dislike of slow loading "active" content.
I use small amounts of javascript, preferably in ways where failure or non-availability are not critical, but I'm still very wary of DHTML, styles and slow-loading Java applets, and frankly, mouseover/rollover is such old hat now that I don't know why anyone bothers.
